Borja Mayoral has made his move to Getafe a permanent from Real Madrid signing a five-year contract.
Azulones announced: “Borja Mayoral will once again wear the azulona shirt after the agreement reached between Getafe Club de Fútbol and Real Madrid Club de Fútbol.

“The striker from Parla, who last season joined Quique Sánchez Flores’ team in the winter market, scoring six goals in the eighteen official matches he played with the Azulona, will become a Getafe footballer for the next 5 seasons.
“He will be presented next Thursday, August 4 from 11:30 a.m., after the morning training session.”
Los Merengues confirmed the deal: “Real Madrid C. F. and Getafe C. F. have reached an agreement. Over the transfer of the Mayoral.
“Mayoral arrived at our youth academy in 2007 and has since been a part of Real Madrid. Winning 1 Champions League, 1 Club World Cup, 1 European Super Cup and 1 Spanish Super Cup.
“Our club would like to thank him for his hard work and dedication during his time at Real Madrid.
