French midfielder Eduardo Camavinga said he was inspired by Paul Pogba after the Rennes starlet got his first international call-up, reveals Goal.
“He’s a really good player with great skills. He has proven it in the French squad, just look at what he’s done: world champion, but I don’t really like comparisons,” said Camavinga.
Camavinga, who was compared to Pogba, said that the 27-year-old was a huge influence for him after leading his country to the biggest international football award: “I am inspired by Paul Pogba.”
In addition to Pogba, Camavinga said he was also an admirer of another World Cup winner, who scored against Croatia in the 2018 final.
“Kylian [Mbappe] has set the bar really high, but it’s definitely a source of motivation for all young players,” Camavinga said about PSG star.
