The Frenchman is now fifth in line, having scored 243 goals in the shirt of the Whites. That is one goal more than the club’s legend Ferenc Puskas, who is now sixth.
In their match against Valencia, Real Madrid went on to score three times after the break. They had a difficult first half, but soon easily defeated Valencia 3-0. Marco Asensio also got his name on the scoresheet besides Benzema.
