Milan Skriniar’s next season is almost certainly in Paris. The Internazionale central defender will be out of contract next summer and has now confirmed that he has signed a pre-contract with Paris Saint-Germain.
In an interview with futbolsfz.sk, Skriniar was asked about rumors that he already has an agreement with the French top club to make the switch this summer. He revealed, “That’s right, but I can’t go into the details.”
It seems clear that Stefan de Vrij’s competitor is leaving for PSG. The only question is when. Paris Saint-Germain would like to take him over from Inter this winter. According to Italian media, Inter has rejected an offer of ten million euros and the club wants to see double that. “I am waiting for an agreement between the two clubs,” says Skriniar.
According to L’Equipe, Inter would have refused an amount of fifty million euros for Skriniar last summer. The current number two in Serie A then did not want to sell him to PSG because it was convinced that he would still sign in Milan. His agent has now indicated that Milan Skriniar’s next season is elsewhere.
PSG 1-1 Reims
Speaking about Paris Saint-Germain, the club again lost points in Ligue 1 on Sunday. The leader of France failed to hold on to the lead after a red card for Marco Verratti.
The game in the Parc des Princes only came loose in the second half. That started with Neymar, who opened the score after the break. Reims’ defense blocked a shot by Lionel Messi, after which the ball ended up at Neymar through Achraf Hakimi’s body. The attacker then coolly finished: 1-0.
Shortly after the opening goal, PSG was left with ten men. Verratti took down Junya Ito and was initially booked. After VAR deliberation, referee Ruddy Buquet made a red print of it. Basic player Azor Matusiwa and substitute Mitchell van Bergen, who shot just wide in the final phase, were still able to cheer in extra time. Folarin Balogun was sent deep, outplayed keeper Gianluigi Donnarumma and equalized: 1-1. Following the result, the Parisians are still three points clear of their chasers.
