In the last match of the 28th round of the Spanish Football Championship, the first after a three-month break, Real Sociedad and Osasuna played 1-1.
In the first game of Sunday’s program of the 28th round, Athletic Bilbao played 1-1 at their San Mames against Atletico Madrid.
The accelerated rhythm of the Spanish championship continues on Monday when the first two games of the 29th round are scheduled, and Levante and Sevilla will meet, as well as Real Betis – Granada.
Barcelona leads the table with 61 points, Real Madrid is second with two points less, and Sevilla is in third place with 50 points. Barcelona will play against Leganes on Tuesday, while Real will welcome Valencia on Thursday.
In an earlier match, Real Madrid defeated Eibar 3-1. The Royal Club routinely reached three points and thus continued the hunt for the leading Barcelona.
Playing 1-1, Sociedad missed an opportunity to get close to third-placed Sevilla just one point behind.
The club now has a three-point deficit behind the Andalusians, and in the fight for the Champions League, Getafe and Atletico Madrid are smoking behind it with a point less.
In this last mtch of the 28th round, the guests took the lead in the 29th minute with a goal by Adrian Lopez from a penalty kick. But Mikel Oyarzabal equalized the score in the 61st minute.
