Sadio Mane’s stay at Bayern Munich is limited to one season. The Senegalese and the German Rekordmeister have decided to say goodbye to each other in the near future, Bild reports.
Bayern Munich directs Mane to the exit
Mane came to Bavaria in the summer of 2022 after six seasons at Liverpool for a whopping 35 million euros, but the stay of the top scorer of the national team has largely ended in disappointment. Mané has been struggling with a fibula injury for a long time this season, which meant that he also had to miss the World Cup.
On top of that came the scuffle with Leroy Sané after the 3-0 Champions League quarter-final loss against Manchester City. This resulted in a record fine of 350,000 euros and a disciplinary suspension for a duel.

According to the German SPORT1, several Bundesliga clubs are angling for the services of the controlling midfielder. In Germany, Grillitsch previously had the jerseys of Werder Bremen and TSG Hoffenheim around his shoulders. The Austrian himself keeps all options open for his future. “I have realized that as a footballer. I am only happy and satisfied when I am on the pitch,” he said.
Grillitsch started the season under the dismissed Alfred Schreuder as a substitute, but the midfielder has now been in the starting line-up of coach John Heitinga for several weeks. This was also the case last Sunday when the team from Amsterdam lost the cup final to PSV in De Kuip.
