Lyon’s ex-manager Peter Bosz was sacked from the position in the Olympic club on Monday. The Dutchman led the team to five consecutive fixtures without being able to register a win. The set of fixtures also included a four match losing streak.
To make matters worse, he fell out of favour with several players in the dressing room. This proved to be the ultimate reason for the sacking. However, it appears as though the stocks of the former midfielder have not quite fallen yet.
Lyon’s ex-manager Peter Bosz considered for the role at VfB Stuttgart
The trainer from Apeldoorn is already linked to a new club a day after his dismissal from Olympique Lyon. Largely owing to the success he had with several clubs in his tenure in Germany and the Netherlands.
Bosz is mentioned as a suitable candidate by the German tabloid Bild now at VfB Stuttgart, who announced on Monday that they had parted ways with coach Pellegrino Matarazz. The newspaper bases its assertion on “own knowledge.” If such is the case, there are undoubtedly other candidates besides Bosz. The names of four additional individuals who would be on the wish list for the Mercedes-Benz Arena are Domenico Tedesco, Adi Hütter, Sebastian Hoeneß, and Gerardo Seoane, according to Bild.
Bosz is well-versed in the Bundesliga. He captained the team at Bayer Leverkusen for a lengthier period of time after serving as coach at Borussia Dortmund for a little time. Bosz would be the fourth Dutchman to coach the five-time German national champion if he actually came for the group in Stuttgart. There had previously been rule by Arie Haan, Huub Stevens, and Jos Luhukay.
Whoever it is, the objective will be straightforward: preservation. Stuttgart only imposed this late in the final game of the previous season. The team is now in seventeenth place in the Bundesliga with five points after nine games, thus this season looks to be challenging once more.
