Predictions
Montpellier have not had the best of away forms in recent games. Their opponents meanwhile have won more often than not over the last few weeks at home. With that being said, disregarding the destruction of relegation bound side Bordeaux, OL has failed to produce any dominating win this season. Hence, expect the visitors to hold their own today.
Moussa Dembélé has scored five goals in his last three league appearances at home. The Frenchman who is the league’s 4th highest goal scorer is my pick to score anytime today.

Ligue 1 – Lyon vs Montpellier: Pre match conference
Peter Bosz, Lyon manager: “Maxence is training with the squad today. Maybe we can get another player or two back. Anthony Lopes shouldn’t be available this Saturday. The injury is really serious and I saw that his thigh had swelled a lot.
“We squandered chances; finishing is the hardest thing in football. The last ball is the most important and challenging. Against Bordeaux, we perhaps had fewer chances than against Brest but we scored six goals. One day, all the shots will go in.
“We did a lot of sprints yesterday. The players are all trying but it is not always easy to keep going with this run of matches and the little rest they have as a result. Lucas runs a lot but maybe too much because he wants to be involved in recovering the ball, and building play but also finishing. Maybe that creates a lack of focus in front of goal.”
Montpellier HSC coach, Olivier Dall’Oglio: “We saw that there had been volume, quality in the recovery and the ball outings. We saw players who grew in size. By dint of returning, failing, starting again, they are improving little by little and we have improved the group. Rémy has had a very good comeback. This has been a real contribution in addition to the progress of certain players.
“Rémy, who has a very high VMA, can repeat the efforts but you have to find the right balance. He has just resumed after a four-month break. There are a lot of questions but we don’t have all the answers.
“Our objective is still to regain our attacking confidence, it is not far but not yet there among the attackers. We are missing that, we need something to click.”
