World Cup qualifiers – Poland vs Sweden: Prediction
Sweden will head into this fixture without a win away from home across all competitions in a year. They are unlikely to defeat Poland, who have done fairly well on home soil, in recent games.
The White and Reds, have scored the last goal in six of their previous eight fixtures. Therefore, I have backed this outcome for tonight’s finals.

Pre-match press conference
Poland coach, Czesław Michniewicz: “After the last Euro, seven players ended their careers. Therefore, a few new ones had to come. Our team, however, is playing similarly to the previous one.
“We have played weaker away from home lately. But let’s go back to the last play-offs. We advanced to the World Cup after the away victory with Italy. While in the Euro 2020 qualifiers we defeated Romania away
“Ibrahimović is healthy enough to be in the squad. But we don’t know yet if he will play tomorrow. (…) But such an experienced player can be valuable to us”
Sweden coach, Janne Andersson: “I don’t consider myself a hopeless specialist. I devote the maximum number of hours to each meeting, just like the Swedes. We do it so as not to be surprised by anything.
“We know about their problems and they know about our problems. We have a thread of understanding with the players. We will try to implement everything. Swedes play orderly football, they rarely make mistakes. There is no favourite, they have Zlatan, we have Robert. We play at home and know that it is one match and anything can happen.
“I work with great and intelligent footballers. Sometimes speaking is not enough. I don’t feel pressure, I feel honoured. Our players must feel this way too. We want to give people hope that we will go to the World Cup.”
