Transfer News Football – Inter Rejected Bids for Lautaro and Lukaku
Inter Reject Atletico Madrid’s Bid for Lautaro Martinez
Lautaro Martinez and is club, Inter, reportedly turned down a €50 million bid from Atletico Madrid.
Inter have stalled the Argentine’s contract talks, and according to Italian media, they are open to selling him this summer.
Lautaro joined the Nerazzurri from Racing Club in July 2018. The 23-year-old was a key member of Inter’s first Scudetto in 11 years. He has 49 goals in 132 competitive games for Beneamata.
Nonetheless, now, Lautaro’s potential departure could be one of many changes Inter make this summer.
For one, if we talk about changes, Simone Inzaghi has taken over as manager in place of Antonio Conte.
Now, Inter are looking at Joaquin Correa as a possible replacement for Lautaro if the Argentina international indeed leaves soon.
However, according to Tuttosport, Atletico Madrid has made a €50 million bid for the striker, which Inter have promptly refused.
The newspaper states Inter rejected this first approach from La Liga and now, Inter’s valuation of Martinez is €90 million.
According to the report, though, the Nerazzurri may be willing to let the player leave for less. They may be open to accepting a fee ranging from €70 million to €80 million for Lautaro Martinez.
Inter Reject Chelsea’s Offer for Romelu Lukaku
Chelsea are committed to signing Inter striker Romelu Lukaku in this summer transfer window.
The London club have even offered 100 million euros, with defender Marcos Alonso being part of the deal, for Lukaku.
But Inter turned down this initial Blues’ offer for the Belgian, Gianluca Di Marzio reports, in the football news today.
As for Lukaku himself, the player has no intention to leave the Nerazzurri. He is very happy in Milan and, rather than a football transfer, he ready to give his all, next season.
However, Chelsea are desperate to sign Romelu Lukaku from Inter.
Nicolo Schira claims that a new 130 million euros bid from Chelsea looks tempting for Inter.
After all, the Italian Serie A defending champions have been facing financial problems lately.
However, Chelsea have not yet put forth an official offer of this value.
