According to the latest Italian media reports, Marcos Alonso is rooting for a new, comeback Serie A experience with Inter. Among today’s transfer news football, Alonso wants to join Inter Milan and he is pressuring Chelsea to let him leave.
Marcos Alonso is battling for regular playing time at Stamford Bridge. He may especially miss game time if Emerson Palmieri remains embroiled, in the middle of a contract dispute with Napoli.
Meanwhile, the 30-year-old Spaniard is actually no stranger to Italian football, having previously played for Fiorentina from 2013 to 2016.
In 2016, English club Chelsea paid €23 million to sign Alonso from Fiorentina.

Alonso had teased, several times, about a football transfer to Inter.
He would have even potentially gone to Inter Chelsea’s bid for Achraf Hakimi. But the full-back instead joined Paris Saint-Germain and even played his debut match for them (the football news).
According to reports in Italy, Alonso is urging Chelsea to let him leave, though his contract expires in June 2023.
If we are to believe La Gazzetta dello Sport, however, Chelsea wants €15-20 million for Alonso.
On the other hand, Inter would prefer to transfer in Marcos Alonso on a loan, with a buy option.
Roma had also expressed interest in the Blues’ player before agreeing to terms with Palmeiras for Matias Via.
