So, if the Turin club fails to qualify, he may leave with a year left on his deal.
Juve may not finish in the top four in this season of Serie A. If so, the Portuguese star may submit a transfer request.
But, although Ronaldo may leave, six other players will remain at the Allianz Stadium regardless of their Champions League future.
Reportly, Federico Chiesa, Dejan Kulusevski, Matthijs de Ligt, Juan Cuadrado, Leonardo Bonucci, and Danilo will remain at the Allianz Stadium.
To the contrary, even if Juventus qualify for the Champions League, Aaron Ramsey and Federico Bernardeschi will depart regardless.
Now, to actually qualify for the Champions League, Juventus must beat Bologna on Sunday at the Stadio Dall’Ara.
At the same time, Napoli and Milan must lose to Hellas Verona and Atalanta, respectively, for Juve to qualify.
Ronaldo has been linked with a return to both Manchester United and Real Madrid in recent weeks. Reports even quote his mother linking him to Sporting CP, his first, boyhood club!
