Juventus signs Arek Milik from Olympique Marseille on a permanent deal. After having played on a loan for the Italian superpower in the past season, the former Ajax player is now making the final switch. The transfer fee can be up to 7.4 million euros.
Juventus will initially pay 6.3 million euros and can still increase by 1.1 million euros
Milik left for Turin on a rental basis in August last year. In his first season with Juventus, he made a total of 41 appearances. The 29-year-old striker scored nine times for the Old Lady, including seven times in Serie A. Juve finished seventh in the competition, partly due to a points penalty of -10.
The attacker from Poland must help Juventus make progress next season. Juventus will initially pay 6.3 million euros for Milik. Due to bonus agreements, that transfer fee can still increase by 1.1 million euros. Milik has signed a contract in Turin until mid-2026.
Dzeko (37) redeems transfer-free status and will sign with Turkish top club
Edin Dzeko is about to complete his transfer to Fenerbahçe. If the medical examination does not cause any problems, the 37-year-old attacker will soon sign a contract in Istanbul.
Dzeko has worn the shirt of Internazionale for the last two seasons and initially thought about a contract extension. However, the Champions League finalist did not want to go beyond a one-year commitment, while the Bosnian striker is far from done with football. Fenerbahçe seems to offer a solution.
Dzeko turned down offer from Inter Milan
The Turkish top club reports the arrival of Dzeko on the official channels. Only the medical examination and the last details stand in the way of a final transfer. Of decisive importance, according to Gazzetta dello Sport, was that Fener presented Dzeko with a two-year contract. That gave the experienced attacker the final push.
With his transfer to Fenerbahçe, Dzeko’s fifteen-year journey through the European top competitions comes to an end. At successively VfL Wolfsburg, Manchester City, AS Roma and Inter, the veteran scored on the assembly line. Dzeko hopes to do the same at Fenerbahçe next season.
