After it was announced on Saturday that two players of the club are positive for coronavirus, Juventus is training in joint self-isolation.
But seven players, namely Merih Demiral, Rodrigo Bentancur, Gianluigi Buffon, Cristiano Ronaldo, Juan Cuadrado, Danilo and Paulo Dybala have not followed isolation rules.
Demiral and Buffon decided to be with their families, and the other footballers went to the gatherings of their national teams.
Other players stayed at the club hotel, including Adrien Rabiot, who will be able to respond to a call-up from the French national team on Thursday if his two swabs are negative at the end of the five-day isolation period.
Fines threaten seven Juventus players because they broke the club’s isolation protocols, writes the Italian Ansa Sports. So, they risk fines of 400 euros.
