The Ralf Rangnick era is now in full swing at Old Trafford. After winning his debut football match, interim manager Ralf Rangnick has made his first appointment at Manchester United – Chris Armas.
Over the weekend, on Sunday, the Red Devils’ fought for 1-0 win over Crystal Palace at home in Old Trafford.
This first game in charge was a tricky encounter, and not everyone was a winner as Rangnick’s strategy became clear.
The new manager may not agree with star Portuguese duo Cristiano Ronaldo and Bruno Fernandes. They have been making challenging demands in Man Utd dressing room in a bid to help the club achieve more.
Though he couldn’t bring his Locomotive Moscow colleague Lars Kornetka (transfer rumours), Rangnick has now made his first backroom appointment.
Meanwhile, however, Rangnick is busy building his coaching staff.
Ralf Rangnick Has Made His First Appointment at Manchester United
The new Manchester United boss has brought in a new coach, his first hire as United’s 2021-22 season’s interim manager. The new man in charge at the club will team up once again with American Chris Armas.
Rangnick and Armas previously worked together at New York Red Bulls back in 2019. At the Red Bulls GmbH, the American was club manager and the German was head of sport and development.
This means that Chris Armas has got some MLS management experience under his belt.
And we believe he is sure to help the players adapt to their new manager Ralf Rangick’s style of playing.
Moreover, there is a common understanding that Armas has already received an approval for his work permit in United Kingdom.
In light of all this, we believe that Manchester United will officially announce Chris Armas’ appointment in a couple of days.
