According to rumours, Paris Saint-Germain attacker Neymar is still optimistic of an exit from Paris Saint-Germain this summer itself.
The former Santos youngster has a contract until June 2022 with Thomas Tuchel’s side.
Neymar was again in excellent form for PSG this term following some injury problems, scoring 18 times and making 10 assists in all competitions in 22 appearances.
The French champions themselves are said to be keen to hold onto the South American this summer. But they will be willing to listen to offers in the £156 m area, as the player keeps up his desire to transfer.
The Brazil international was closely linked to a move to Camp Nou ahead of the 2019-20 season, but the Spanish champions could not agree with the giants of the Ligue 1. He still hopes to secure a return to Barcelona during the transfer window this summer.
In addition to the financial impact of the coronavirus outbreak, Barca’s pursuit of Inter Milan’s Lautaro Martinez had seemingly ended the club’s chances of re-signing the attacker this summer.
The 28-year-old, however, according to Mundo Deportivo, has not given up hope of returning to the Catalan giants ahead of the 2020-21 campaign.
