Bayern Munich have to consider raids on Manchester City and Bayer Leverkusen, argues Lothar Matthaus.
In the same transfer window can afford to sign Leroy Sane and Kai Havertz, and Matthaus believes they should pick up both the players as soon as possible.
“Bayern should manage all transactions economically, and at the same time purchase Sane and Havertz,” the Bayern icon told Sky Deutschland of the need to show enthusiasm and long-term vision.
He continued: “With top players, Bavaria will be stronger. That’s why I think FCB can buy Sane and Havertz.
“Leroy Sane and Kai Havertz will make this squad stronger. But this you know only when they’re there.
“There is no hesitation, of course, that both are excellent and that Bayern Munich wouldn’t certainly become weaker, but much stronger.
“If they will do this or wait for the coronavirus situation to be over is open for debate.”
