Manchester City is ready to join the race for Ben Chilwell at the end of the season when the transfer window opens.
He is being considered at the Etihad Stadium should they need to recruit a left-back. Indeed, Chilwell will come into Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola’s thinking when he needs a left-back.
Guardiola spent much of the time at left-back this season with Benjamin Mendy and still has Oleksandr Zinchenko, although the international Ukrainian could be transferred to midfield.
However, the value of the Leicester player may prove to be an obstacle. Leicester City rate their full-back as high as Harry Maguire, who went as a defender when he joined Manchester United for a world record of £85 million according to Telegraph.
The left-back from Leicester, now 23, is a target for Chelsea also.
