Consequently, the 33-year-old and his girlfriend, 30-year-old Eleonora Manta, were found stabbed to death in his apartment in Lecce, according to La Repubblica.
De Santis was mainly a Serie C official and had officiated 130 competitive matches during his career. He made his Serie B debut in 2017 as the fourth Pisa-Benevento official.
