Arsenal have allegedly approached Real Madrid to discuss a possible move for Gareth Bale, who is currently out on injury. After we thought Newcastle United’s pursuit of him surprising football transfer news, Arsenal may sign Real Madrid’s Gareth Bale in a shock football transfer.
Despite being a fixture for Carlo Ancelotti’s team in the early stages of the season, Wales international Gareth Bale is largely expected to depart Santiago Bernabeu on a free transfer at the conclusion of the current 2021-22 season.

And Arsenal have reportedly offered Real Madrid the option to sign Alexandre Lacazette (Inter transfer rumours) in exchange for Bale, according to Defensa Central, but the Spanish giants declined.
Lacazette, like Bale, has a contract expiring next summer, and we doubt the Frenchman will re-sign at the Emirates Stadium.
Bale previously played for Arsenal’s bitter rivals Tottenham Hotspur between 2007 and 2013. Then, more recently, he also joined them on loan for the 2020-21 season, which he played with moderately good success.
The 32-year-old is presently sidelined with a knee injury.
However, before this relegation to the bench, he has appeared in Real Madrid’s first three league games of the season. He even scored a goal in the 2-2 draw with Levante for a La Liga football match on August 22.
