PSG vs Troyes
Ligue 1
Parc des Princes
Troyes despite travelling to the Parc des Princes in 15th position were still uncomfortably close to relegation. Any points gained against the Champions would have been valuable in their survival mission.
However, it looked unlikely they would rescue a point as they were 2-0 down within 25 minutes. They were able to pull one back in the 30th minute. Furthermore, they equalised in the 49th minute through a penalty.
Neither team were able to find the winner as the fixture concluded with a 2-2 scoreline. Following the result, ESTAC are now six points clear of the relegation cutoff.

Post match reaction
Bruno Irles, ESTAC coach: “It was a special match because we faced the French champions. This extra soul allowed us to get a point. We’re taking another step towards our goal tonight. I saw eleven players ready, who fought and never gave up. I had asked for a lot of desire, shopping, self-sacrifice.
It’s a great pride for me tonight to see what my players are producing. We are progressing well and the big satisfaction is this team. I see a group that wants to be in Ligue 1 Uber Eats next season. Who would have bet that ESTAC could come and get a point at the Parc des Princes? Not many people.
My players weren’t down when we were down 2-0. I asked them to keep the same game plan. The Trojans stayed on their way and that’s what made it possible to come back to score. Florian Tardieu’s panenka? We know exactly how players take penalties today. He has taken several penalties in recent matches and he was forced to change. He managed to surprise the opposing goalkeeper and so much the better.”
