Chennaiyin Football Club have appointed Thomas Brdaric as the manager. The club has further announced the signing of defender Gurmukh Singh.
The club announced the following: “Chennaiyin FC have acquired the services of Thomas Brdaric as head coach ahead of the upcoming season.”
“Chennaiyin FC have inked a two-year deal with defender Gurmukh Singh.”
Brdaric’s first words as Chennaiyin FC boss were: “First of all, I would like to thank Mrs. Vita Dani and the Chennaiyin family for putting their faith in me. Honestly, I am looking forward to this incredible journey. This will be a great experience and a challenge where we will push further as one team. This is not my first time outside of Germany, therefore I am aware of most circumstances and I am ready to move forward with Chennaiyin FC. I can’t wait to get started.”
Gurmukh expressed: “Since I started playing football, playing in the ISL has always been my dream and today with God’s grace that has turned into reality. I am thankful to Chennaiyin FC for placing their trust in me. I assure the club and the fans that I’ll do everything I can to take the club to new heights. Looking forward to the season.”
Chennaiyin Football Club co-owner Vita Dani mentioned: “Gurmukh Singh is a great addition to this squad. We know that he has played a huge role in Rajasthan United’s I-League season that finished with the second best defensive record in the league. I would like to welcome him to the Chennaiyin family.”
