Riccardo Bigon has reaffirmed that Zlatan Ibrahimovic is “not a possibility” for Bologna.
Speaking last month club director Walter Sabatini seemed to halt the idea and sporting director Riccardo Bigon has also said that there is no chance to bring Ibrahimovic to Bologna.
“I realise the media interest in making this a story because at the top level he’s such an essential name, but Ibrahimovic isn’t a possibility,” Bigon told RAI Radio (via Football Italia) 1 the 38-year-old.
Previously too, before joining Milan, Ibrahimovic had been linked to Bologna, mostly because of his relationship with the club’s head coach Sinisa Mihajlovic.
However, Bigon refutes rumors of a transfer now:
“We’re no longer in touch. He’d talked to Mihajlovic in the autumn, and then made his decisions, so we haven’t discussed the matter again.”
