Milan has signed a contract with former Schalke 04 and RB Leipzig coach Ralf Rangnick, according to Tuttosport.
The 61-year-old is on the cover of the Tuttosport newspaper this morning, and, after months of speculation, he appears destined to land in Milan.
The initial contact with the German manager instigated controversy leading to Zvonimir Boban’s farewell earlier this year and reports indicated that technical director Paolo Maldini would also have to step back.
The director of Red Bull was connected to the Rossoneri and CEO Ivan Gazidis did not hide the fact that he wanted to bring the former coach of RB Leipzig to San Siro.
He was recruited to a managerial position and is expected to take over all of the Diavolo’s sporting duties, leading the side alongside Gazidis.
