Liverpool head coach Jurgen Klopp has assessed to Sky Sports the team’s chances of winning the Champions League.
The interview went in the way written below.
Question:
Would it be strange to think about winning the Champions League in the current situation?
Answer:
Sort of. But the only reason you enter a tournament is always to want to win it. But we are not stupid. So far, we don’t think we will win the Champions League this season.
We have to wait for the results of the draw. Regardless of who our opponents will be, we are in for an insanely tough game.
We do not look that far ahead. We are still thinking about tomorrow and the game with Wolves. In the Champions League we managed to find our tempo, but in the Premier League we are not yet able to do that.
We will have games ahead that will give us the opportunity to come back and that will definitely help us before the Champions League.
