Simon Kjaer says Milan has a career long desire.
“Milan is simply Milan. It’s always been a great club to me,” Kjaer told Goal.
“Since I was out as a young player twelve years ago and arrived in Palermo, this was just the club for me. Back then I told my agent I’d love to play in the red and black uniform one day.
“It was similar a couple of times ago but the timing was perfect now. Milan is a gigantic club with tremendous history.”
Per him, the initiation of a permanent transfer to AC Milan is the culmination of his dreams:
“I sincerely understand that coming here is a blessing and at the same time have the potential to help get the team back to where we belong: at the top of Italian and European football.”
