EPL – Liverpool vs. Watford: Prediction
The Hornets have been doing really well in their last few league matches on the road. Having gained nearly a third of their total points from their previous four away games.
However, do not expect them to come anywhere close to challenging for points when they go up against a club that is on a nine match winning streak in the league and undefeated at Anfield since March 2021 in the league.
Mo Salah who will return from heartbreak with his national team will be looking forward to this fixture. The Egyptian has scored nine goals in seven matches against this opponent. Therefore, I have backed him to score at least two goals.

Pre-match conference
Liverpool manager, Jürgen Klopp: “It’s a very good example for how important is it to be top of the league at 2.30pm on a Saturday when all the rest are playing after? It’s not too important.
“What we need for this game is a sensational, the best – the best – 12.30pm atmosphere ever. Not nervous, not whatever, not tense and you cannot breathe… if you cannot shout and sing, stay at home and give your ticket to somebody else, please.
“Really, we need you with all we have – the boys came back from all over the world, played completely different systems again and we have this one session today where we can make sure we remind them of what we actually do because their national teams obviously do it completely different.
“Then we go against a very well-organised Watford team and we need each voice for that.”
Watford manager, Roy Hodgson: “If Watford survive this year, it will be partly because the players have shown themselves to be good enough, but it will be because the spirit is good and they have really wanted it.
“You can try to transmit spirit, but it has got to come from the group itself, they have got to accept it and build on it.
“If we do survive, it is because the spirit at the club has been very good.
“Every time you play a team like Liverpool away from home you know the odds are stacked against you.
“There is no secret to how good they are or why they are good, the quality of their players and the quality of their work.
“All we can do is hope that we are able to produce a performance on the day that will give us a result.”
