The development of Tahith Chong will continue next season in the Bundesliga.
Tahith Chong from Manchester United joined Bundesliga side Werder Bremen on loan for the season 2020-21 (via their official website).
The 20-year-old winger, who joined Feyenoord’s United academy in 2016, has struggled to establish himself in the first team.
Then, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was hired in December 2018, initially on an interim basis.
At the time, Chong was seen as one of the youngest players most likely to make the step up to the senior side as a regular. Indeed, he has since been highly regarded by the club.
He has only made 16 appearances in all the competitions, though, and has yet to be used in the Premier League from the outset.
In March, Chong signed a new contract to keep him at the club until 2022, with the option of extending his stay for another year.
