2023–24 Brighton season Preview: Albion’s last season was certainly one of the most impressive performances by teams outside the top six in recent memory. The club has overperformed for a few seasons in a row already. However, last time around they proved the world that the side can impose a threat to any team in the division.

The most significant departure from Brighton at the time of writing is Alexis Mac Allister to Liverpool. Meanwhile, Moises Caceido is almost certain to leave as well.
Todd Miller, Taylor Richards, Toby Bull, Billie Clark, Matt Everitt, Jake Gee, Eliot Jenks, Teddy Jenks, Sam Packham, Haydon Roberts, Casey Shann, Jack Spong, Fynn Talley, Lorent Tolaj, Antef Tsoungui, Ben Wilson, Joe Winstanley are the youth players let go by the club.
In terms of addition, the club have added James Milner and Mahmoud Dahoud to the squad. Both were free transfers. João Pedro was signed from Watford for a reported €32.00m.
Despite a couple of additions in the midfield, Brighton might end up signing another midfielder. Tyler Adams of Leeds United, Reo Hatate of Celtic, Galatasaray’s Sacha Boey and Sassuolo’s Davide Frattesi are midfielders linked. Mohammed Salisu and Carlos Alcaraz of Southampton are also reported to be targets.
Zakaria Aboukhlal of Toulouse, James McAtee of Man City, Arsenal’s Reiss Nelson and goalkeeper Caoimhín Kelleher are other players that interest Albion. Samuel Iling Junior of and
Sacha Boey of Galatasaray are the wingers linked with the club.

The above lists every fixture of Albion for this season. Their fierce encounter at Selhurst park will take place on 23rd December. The return fixture against Palace will be on February 3rd. With the relegation of Southampton, the club do not have a south Coast derby to look forward to.
Brighton, no doubt, are an impressive side. However, with the competition on top of the table, I do see them pushing any higher in the league. That being said, if Albion are able to retain the European spots next season, they should consider it as a successful season.
