Ligue 1 – Nice vs Rennes: Allianz Riviera on Saturday witnessed Nice taking on the visitors Rennes. It was a crucial fixture in which the winning team would leapfrog their opponents. And hence we expected both teams to play with a caution first approach.
As expected both teams were happy to hold the ball and wait for the chance to take the lead. Neither team was able to score in the first hour of the game.
Andy Delort’s goal in the 67th minute gave the hosts the lead and considering the first hour of play they were expected to defend the lead. However, the visitors found the equaliser in the 78th minute through Terrier.
