FA Cup 5th round: The draw for the fifth round of the FA Cup was made on Monday evening. Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United plays a home game against West Ham United, which beat Derby County 0-2 on Monday evening.
Several sixteenth finals ended in a draw, requiring a second game to determine a winner. Derby County and West Ham United were the only two clubs not yet to play in the sixteenth finals and only met on Monday evening. Manchester United were linked to the winner of that match and now know that West Ham is.
Manchester City will visit Bristol City, the current number seventeen in the Championship. Tottenham Hotspur visit the winner of the replay between Wrexham and Sheffield United. Brighton & Hove Albion impressed by knocking out cup holders Liverpool and continue the FA Cup campaign with an away game against Stoke City.
