The draw for the FA Cup 2022/23 4th round was made on Sunday afternoon. Erik ten Hag takes on Reading with Manchester United, while there may also be some squatters.
United qualified for the fourth round on Friday evening by beating Everton 3-1 and now meets the number thirteen in the Championship with Reading. Reading won 2-0 against Watford on Saturday through goals from Kelvin Abrefa and Shane Long.
The last six matches in the third round still have to be played, but a draw was already made on Sunday afternoon. The sixteen posters that came out of the tube include a few possible squatters. For example, Manchester City and Arsenal face each other if they beat Chelsea and Oxford United respectively this week.
Title holders Liverpool, if they beat Wolverhampton Wanderers, will meet Brighton & Hove Albion. In October, the Premier League game between those two teams ended in a spectacular 3-3 draw.
