Agent Furio Valcareggi has some really good suggestions for Brescia striker Mario Balotelli- chiefly, that he should retire from football.
“Frankly, he needs to quit playing football now,” the director Valcareggi said to TMW Radio. “I would have recruited Balotelli for the last season. At this stage, though, it’s clear that he will stop playing football.”
Valcareggi also blames Mino Raiola, Balotelli’s agent:
“I think that Raiola has to take some responsibility, because he should help Balotelli to improve. He introduces him instead as an incredible player and then the results are embarrassing.”
The player turns 30 in August and after a number of disputes, which resulted in him being driven away from the training ground yesterday, he has effectively split from Brescia.
He was permitted back for medical checks and a short practice this evening but only after his teammates had left.
