Aston Villa could sign the Werder Bremen winger Milot Rashica this summer.
Aston Villa would have benefitted from someone like him last season. Rashica did a good job in Germany, and he would be a great addition to Villa’s attack. The Bundesliga ace can play on both sides.
If signed, he may add more attacking depth and goals to their side before the new season starts, and Villa’s versatility is a bonus.
Signing Rashica would be a great move for them, but the player won’t come cheap. Apparently, it’s going to cost around £20-30 m.
But Rashica has the talent to justify the fee in the long run. He picked up 11 goals and 5 assists last season.
However, Villa had to bring in other reinforcements as well and paying around £30 m for Rashica could prove to be difficult for them.
As per rumors (via Birmingham Mail), though, the Premier League club are in advanced negotiations with the attacker’s lawyer right now and the deal may be concluded next week.
The 24-year-old has been linked to Villa for a while now, and it will be interesting to see if Dean Smith’s side can get the deal done.
