According to Willian’s representative Kia Joorabchian, Willian’s future at Chelsea is very much up in the air. This is because the midfielder is ready to “finish his career at a very high stage”.
“We appreciate and recognize Chelsea’s strategy, but Willian has a career and ambition. He needs to finish his career performing at a really high level,” Willian’s agent told Sky Sports.
Joorabchian claims the “ambition” of his client will likely see him leave Chelsea later in the year, unless the club is willing to offer fresh contract terms:
“The talks had been about two to three years until the pandemic happened.”
