Rice’s former Chelsea club is said to be enjoying a reunion with their former youth player, but Manchester United has reportedly cooled their interest in the game recently.
Latest reports have indicated that David Moyes’ side could be up for sale, not definitely not Rice.
Since becoming a professional at West Ham in 2015, Rice has made 101 club appearances in all competitions, including 29 top-flight appearances this season. The 21-year-old is under contract at the Hammers until 2024 but has been persistently linked to a move away from London Stadium following promising performances over the past two seasons.
The report argues that the Hammers are determined to keep Rice on the books next season, amid reports that they may be forced to sell their most precious commodity in order to cope financially with the coronavirus pandemic.
