Aston Villa recently named Galatasaray Defender Christian Luyindama as a possible sign during the next transfer window. Previously, Wolverhampton Wanderers had been credited with an interest in the centre-back.
This pits the two clubs against each other in a bid for the defender, who is now priced at much more that the £4.5 m that Galatasaray had paid for his signature.
Having been impressive during his first campaign in Turkey, Luyindama will be linked to a move to a larger club later in 2020. As it stands, the player is in his last two years of his contract.
While Galatasaray is said to want to negotiate on new terms with Luyindama, much may rely on the size of the bids they receive ahead of next season.
According to Turkiye, Villa is ready to fight for the Frenchman, provided that they stay in the Premier League. So, who will it be? Villa or the Wolves?
