Tottenham Hotspur is reportedly looking to swap midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg for Southampton defender Kyle Walker-Peters.
Spurs hopes to persuade Southampton to consider a part-exchange offer involving Walker-Peters according to Football Insider.
While Southampton would probably prefer a cash bid already, if Walker-Peter impresses during the campaign’s closing games, the Spurs can consider the suggestion later on.
Spurs struggled during the January window with a proposal for Hojbjerg, who at the time had 18 months left on his deal at St Mary’s.
With the Denmark international showing no interest in penning fresh terms, Southampton is in a place where offers for the 24-year-old need to be weighed.
The full-back, who is not featured in Jose Mourinho’s plans, is currently on loan at the South Coast outfit, making one start in the Premier League before the coronavirus pandemic forced football to be suspended.
