German national team player Timo Werner has repeatedly stated that Liverpool is the best team in the world, calling Juergen Klopp the best coach in the world.
German national team player Timo Werner is ready to sign the current European champion within the next transitional period if Liverpool will pay a € 60 million compensation, which is in Werner’s contract with RB Leipzig, British SkySport has announced.
Liverpool, however, are not the only team interested in the German striker, who has scored 88 goals in four seasons of playing in his current squad, which he arrived in 2016 from Stuttgart.
As early as last summer, Werner was close to moving to Bayern, which at the time offered about 30 million euros for his arrival, and although the deal failed, the Bavarians’ interest did not disappear. But Liverpool have a comparative advantage over other teams in that they have Klopp, whom Werner admires. In addition, he has been expanding his English skills for some time.
The departure clause of RB Leipzig is valid until June 15 this year, so Juergen Klopp doesn’t have much time to think. This exit clause was incorporated into the Werner Treaty when it extended until then, which committed itself to loyalty to Leipzig until the summer of 2023.
