Barcelona boss Quique Setien says his club wants Miralem Pjanic because he’s a ‘great player’.
“He is a player with great performance and behavior and we are glad to have him with us,” he told BeIN Sports. “He’s a player who has positive qualities for sure and brings positive energy.”
In recent weeks, Pjanic has emerged as Barca’s top target and Setien has made it clear that he was a big fan of the Juventus midfielder.
“I always say I like all the great players,” he said. “Pjanic’s a great player although we see great players every day in the newspapers as well.”
Vidal was heavily associated with making way for the 30-year-old and moving to Inter, but he would rather stay put by the coach. Setien also claimed that he’s ‘happy’ that Arturo Vidal is still available.
