Former Bayern player Willy Sagnol believes his compatriot Kylian Mbappe can gain a lot by moving to Liverpool where he would work with Jürgen Klopp.
“Liverpool have a big advantage because with Klopp you have a coach that every player in the world wants to work with. Mbappe would have to adapt to his work, Klopp requires a lot of defensive engagement from the striker and Mbappe is not good at it yet. However, he can learn, especially from a coach like Klopp, there is no doubt. Mbappe under his leadership can become king,” Sagnol points out for SportBild.
Mbappe stays at PSG for now, but the question is for how long because the interest of other clubs is mentioned more and more often. Not so long ago, Mbappe himself reconsidered his ambitions by playing in Paris.
Already one of the greats, Kylian Mbappe has been associated with Liverpool as well.
Jürgen Klopp would love to see Mbappe on his team, and Willy Sagnol thinks it would be a great move for Mbappe himself as well.
