In Russia, football will return late June, with supporters in the stands.
The Russian Football Federation has reported that when the season begins on June 21, fans will be given entry to the matches.
The report says in the first phase that clubs will only be allowed to fill 10 per cent of the capacity of the respective stadiums.
After revealing the severe financial difficulties of several clubs due to the pandemic, the federation was authorized by the health authorities in Russia because resuming without fans would only worsen the situation.
The clubs must determine whether to disperse the fans in the stands, because this depends on each stadium’s capacity.
Zenit St Petersburg has a stadium size of almost 70,000 although some, including Orenburg Gazovik, have only a 7,500-seater for their home games.
