“I never thought I’d end up in jail. Prison is not for me”, Ronaldinho said.
Ronaldinho, along with his brother Assis, was arrested in Paraguay for a false passport of that country and spent 32 days in custody. After being granted liberty to defend himself, he moved to a luxury hotel in Asuncion.
“It was not easy for me when I was told I had to go to jail. Now it’s something easier because I am under house arrest and awaiting trial. I hope this is all over soon,” Ronaldinho told for ABC Paraguay Television.
Ronaldinho finished his career in January 2018.
