Arjen Robben has defined Pep Guardiola as a “master of offensive football”.
“I love football and, above all, offensive football – and Pep is a master at it,” he told magazine Socrates.
He says the Catalan, his former Bayern Munich boss, is the best coach in the world:
“He made sure I was more detailed. For me Pep is the world’s greatest coach. The three years at Munich with him have been extremely informative.”
Robben thinks Guardiola is the person who helped him get the best out of it, while the two having the same philosophy about how to approach the position:
“He concentrated on attack and absolute ball control. I particularly enjoyed that of course. We were on the same line.”
