Manchester United star Marcus Rashford has helped FareShare achieve its aim to battle hunger during the coronavirus crisis.
Writing on his official Twitter page on Thursday, Rashford said: “Guys, I have great news!! We had a plan that FareShare would deliver 3 million meals to poor citizens around the UK by the end of June.”
This goal of providing three million meals by the end of June to vulnerable citizens in the UK was achieved:
“We reached the financial goal of providing those meals TODAY. Thanks SO much for the support.”
“And while I’m celebrating this, there’s so much more to do. Trust me when I say, I’ll keep fighting until there’s no kid in the UK worried about where their next meal comes from.”
