Brazilian footballer Neymar has admitted to suffering from anxiety about the coronavirus epidemic, and the fact that it has deferred sports’ events indefinitely.
“That I don’t know when I can return to the field causes me anxiety,” Neymar wrote on his website.
“I really miss football. I’m sure the fans, too, want to see the return of the football players to the courts. I hope it happens as soon as possible,” added the striker of the Brazilian national team and French champion PSG.
Neymar, who moved from Barcelona to PSG two years ago for a record 222 million euros, is conducting insulation on his luxury property, located in Mangaratiba, 100 km from Rio de Janeiro.
Neymar paid eight million euros for the villa four years ago, and the property has tennis and volleyball courts, swimming pools and a heliport. Neymar does not spend time in isolation alone, but also brings his closest friends to the property.
He also shared a photo with his fans, with a caption reading: “Another day, be strong and be safe.”
