Robert Moreno, new Monaco manager, is apparently saying that Neymar is wanted back at Barcelona in the next transfer window at Camp Nou.
Rumours connecting the forward with a retracing of his steps to Catalunya emerged just as soon as he linked in a record-breaking contract with Paris Saint-Germain. Now, Moreno, the former assistant to Luis Enrique at Barcelona, adds fuel to the fire.
Moreno acknowledges that he can see why the Blaugrana may like to re-sign a player he once served with under Luis Enrique during a sparkling era of success.
“For Barcelona I’d re-sign Neymar.” the ex-Spain boss told El Transistor. “Finally, Barcelona needs to get the greatest stars in the world and Neymar is one of them, a talent who makes the difference.
“I know for sure they want him.”
Moreno is actually himself holding an eye on Camp Nou activities from afar, reflecting on a high-profile Monaco post.
