Milan have reportedly rejected the first €30m offer from Paris Saint-Germain for midfielder Ismael Bennacer.
Bennacer has made 23 competitive appearances for Milan this season, contributing one assist but becoming a key figure in their midfield, above all.
According to le10sport.com, PSG has already made a proposal for the Algeria international, but the Italian club it turned down a bid. However, putting them off isn’t enough, as PSG and Leonardo are determined to bring in the former Empoli talent.
The Rossoneri paid €16 million last summer to get Bennacer from Empoli, having agreed terms before he was named Player of the Tournament as Algeria won the African Cup of Nations. Even doubling that cost isn’t enough to tempt them into a sale, as it seems PSG will have to pay the 22-year-old at least €40 m.
