Milan is reportedly engaged in ongoing talks with Real Madrid, aiming to bring Luka Jovic to San Siro for a two-year loan. Additionally, they would like to include a purchase option in the agreement.
Journalist Nicolò Schira claims that Rossoneri have made the former Eintracht Frankfurt striker their priority this summer and are trying to get the 22-year-old on loan from Los Blancos.
However, Schira writes that the salary of 5 m euros per year may be an obstacle for Milan, who, according to his article, are talking to the Merengues about moving to Italy for the former Benfica man.
After scoring 25 goals in 54 Bundesliga matches in Frankfurt, the La Liga giants paid €60 m to carry Jovic to Madrid. The Serbia international has appeared 15 times in the League with Real Madrid, contributing two goals and assisting one helping the cycle.
But he has nonetheless struggled to find his feet in the capital of Spain. He didn’t score in his seven games in the Champions League and the Copa del Rey, for instance.
So, he could move on to the Bernabeu after just one season.
