Milan showed an interest in signing a free transfer to Burnley midfielder Jeff Hendrick, states SkySports.
The 28-year-old joined Burnley for a £10.5 m club record fee at the time in August 2016, and has since made 139 appearances for the club, scoring 10 goals.
Hendrick is currently back in training with Burnley as the Premier League gets back on June 17.
Hendrick, who has been capped 54 times by the Republic of Ireland, is out of contract this summer and has yet to agree with the Premier League side to extend.
Burnley held early discussions about a new deal for Hendrick and appeared optimistic to keep him at Turf Moor.
Till the coronavirus pandemic, Milan indicated their involvement in Hendrick and now are reviewing their choices ahead of the next transfer deadline.
However, several other Premier League clubs also expressed interest in Hendrick, who was a big player in the midfield of Burnley under boss Sean Dyche.
